About the extension
ZweiPunkt Variants in Product Listing shows the available variants of a product directly in the product listing, so customers no longer have to open the detail page first. Colours, sizes or other properties become visible right in the category and every variant is just one click away.
How it works
In the plugin configuration you select exactly one property, for example colour or size. The plugin then shows the available values of that property as small tiles below each variant product in the listing. Every tile links directly to the matching variant.
Three display modes
- Colour tile for properties with a stored colour value
- Image tile for properties with a stored image
- Text tile as a fallback when neither colour nor image is set
Image swap on hover
Optionally the preview image of the product tile changes as soon as the customer hovers over a variant tile. This way they immediately see what the variant looks like without leaving the page.
Variant images below the title
Optionally the plugin additionally shows the preview images of the variants as small thumbnails below the product title.
Only visible and purchasable variants
Only active variants that are available in the sales channel are shown. Identical values are merged so that each property appears only once.

Configuration guide
Installation
- Upload the plugin in the Shopware admin via Extensions > My extensions.
- Install the extension and activate it afterwards.
- Clear the theme and storefront cache so that the new storefront changes are loaded.
Configuration
- In the admin go to Extensions > My extensions.
- Open the three-dot menu next to ZweiPunkt Variants in Product Listing and choose Configure.
- Under Property select the property group whose variants should appear in the listing, for example colour.
- Optionally enable Change image on mouse hover over variant tag so the preview image switches on hover.
- Optionally enable Show variant image below product title.
- Save the configuration. The settings can be stored per sales channel.
Verify the result
Open a category page that contains variant products. The affected products now show the variants of the selected property as tiles, each linking to the matching variant.
