About the extension
The ZweiPunkt Product Advisor guides your customers step by step to the right product through a question and answer dialogue. With every answered question the product selection is narrowed further, until in the end exactly those items remain that match the customer's input. This brings in-store advice into your storefront and helps your customers quickly find the right item, even in a large assortment.
The advisor is a dedicated element for shopping experiences. You place it where it is needed: on the home page, on category pages or on a separate landing page.
How it works
- Create the advisor in the admin: You create an advisor and fill it with questions and answers, entirely without programming.
- Answers filter products: Each answer narrows the product selection via filter rules like the ones you know from dynamic product groups, for example by property, manufacturer or price.
- Branch the paths: For each answer you define a follow-up question or control the order via priority. Individual answers can jump straight to the result.
- Show the result: The matching products appear as a familiar product list in the look of your storefront, including sorting and loading of further products.

Configuration guide
Installation
Upload the extension in the Shopware admin under Extensions, My extensions and install it. Then activate the extension using the toggle. Afterwards clear the cache so that the new element is available for the shopping experiences.
Create an advisor
- Open the Product Advisor menu item in the content area of the admin. You can also find it in the settings under the plugins.
- Create a new advisor. Creating advisors works in the default system language.
- Fill the advisor with questions. For each question you add answers and choose the display: single choice as a radio button, single choice as a dropdown or multiple choice via checkboxes.
- Add a filter rule per answer that defines which products remain after this answer. The rules work like dynamic product groups.
- Optional: Define a follow-up question per answer or control the order via priority. Individual answers can jump straight to the result.
Add the advisor to a page
- Open the desired page under Content, Shopping Experiences or create a new one.
- Drag the Product Advisor element to the desired position.
- Select the matching advisor in the element settings.
- Decide whether the dialogue runs on a single page or step by step.
- Save the page and assign it to the desired category or landing page.
