Showcase your technical products interactively in 3D and, at the same time, gain valuable leads for your sales team through CAD downloads.
With the 3D CAD preview for Shopware 6 , you can show your customers technical components directly on the product detail page as an interactive 3D model. The model can be rotated and zoomed in the browser – without the need for any additional software. The 3D preview is freely accessible. However, if a visitor wishes to download the corresponding CAD file, they must be logged in. Guests are prompted to register for free before downloading. This allows you to conveniently provide important design data whilst also finding out which customers are interested in which products.
CAD downloads with tracking
Every download is assigned to the relevant customer, product and file. In the Shopware backend, you’ll receive a clear overview and can export the data as a CSV file if required. In addition, the plugin can automatically send an email to customisable recipients with every download. This ensures your sales team is immediately informed of specific product interests. Your customers can also find their previous downloads in their customer account and re-download the files at any time.

Configuration guide
Installation
Lade das Plugin im Shopware-Admin unter Erweiterungen > Meine Erweiterungen hoch und installiere es. Aktiviere es anschließend über den Schalter in der Übersicht. Nach der Aktivierung stehen der CAD-Reiter auf der Produktseite, die Download-Übersicht im Kundenkonto und der Auswertungsbereich im Admin zur Verfügung.
Konfiguration
Öffne die Plugin-Konfiguration über Erweiterungen > Meine Erweiterungen und dort die Schaltfläche Konfiguration beim Eintrag ZweiPunkt 3D-CAD-Vorschau auf Produktseiten. Hinterlege unter Empfänger der Mails eine oder mehrere E-Mail-Adressen und bestätige jede Adresse mit der Eingabetaste. An diese Empfänger geht bei jedem CAD-Download eine Benachrichtigung. Ohne hinterlegte Adresse wird keine Mail verschickt; alle übrigen Funktionen arbeiten unabhängig davon.
CAD-Dateien bereitstellen
Die Dateien werden nicht über den Medienmanager gepflegt, sondern direkt im Dateisystem des Shops abgelegt – per FTP, SSH oder Deployment. Maßgeblich ist die Produktnummer:

.obj– Wavefront-OBJ, wird im Browser gerendert - Download-Datei:
.STEP– wird dem Kunden zum Download angeboten
Für ein Produkt mit der Nummer ZP-CAD-001 lauten die Pfade also public/media/CadData/ZP-CAD-001/ZP-CAD-001.obj und public/media/CadData/ZP-CAD-001/ZP-CAD-001.STEP. Schreibweise und Endungen müssen exakt übereinstimmen, die Endung der Download-Datei wird groß geschrieben. Liegt keine OBJ-Datei vor, bleibt der Vorschaubereich leer.
Anzeige auf der Produktseite
Die 3D-Vorschau und der Download-Bereich erscheinen automatisch als zusätzlicher Reiter CAD-Daten auf der Produktdetailseite, direkt neben Beschreibung und Bewertungen. Der Reiter wird bei allen Produkten angezeigt.
Auswertung
Die Übersicht aller Downloads findest Du im Admin unter Kunden > CAD-Downloads sowie unter Einstellungen > Erweiterungen. Dort siehst Du jeden Download mit Kunde, E-Mail, Firma, Land, Produkt und Anzahl und kannst die Liste über CSV-Export herunterladen.
